Cub Scout Day of Awesomeness

A Cub Scout Day of Awesomeness is a recognition day for all Hiawatha District Cub Scouts and Cub Scout Packs that is filled with activities designed to get kids active and engaged in the Cub Scout program. This will be a day full of non-stop action that will highlight many of the different activities we offer and, in many cases, are usually limited to summer camps. Your Cub Scout will leave this event yelling "That was totally AWESOME!"

The day's activities will be split into two distinct parts:

Morning:  Activities will include age/rank specific programs or "Treks" including Tiger-Rama (1st grade), Wolf Tracks (2nd grade), Bear Essentials (3rd grade), and Wild Webelos (4th-5th grades).  Each Treak will be geared specific to their age group and promote parent involvement (So adults... BE PREPARED to participate).

Lunch: Bring a Sack Lunch and a CHAIR!

Afternoon: Activities will include BB Guns, Bows and Arrows, Sports, Games, Crafts, and possibly some very special guests and much more!  If possible, we may even end the day with a camp fire and s'mores!

This will all take place October 18th at Greenwood Park in Lisle NY.  Check-in is at 8:30AM, Opening is at 9 AM and activities will run from 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

ALL adult participants should complete Youth Protection Training and Tigers (1st grade) must be accompanied by an adult partner.
