Help the Pack Go I

This is a reminder that Pack 100 is nothing without Pack families.  Further, our Pack is way more than just a set of weekly den meetings.  There is the year-end holiday party, the Pinewood Derby competition, the annual Blue&Gold dinner and much, much more.  But none of this happens without contributions from every Pack member, young and old.

Pack 100 is looking for any and all input from Pack families in regards to Pack activities and fundraising-related activities. Pack 100 needs *your* help and ideas because it's *your* Pack.  Cubmaster Kinsley handed out a survey recently that covered these basic questions:
  • How much can you help out with/at activities and fundraisers this year?
  • Do you have suggestions for any activities or fundraisers?
  • Are you willing to run/chair an activity or fundraiser?
Please respond to her as soon as possible.  
And on that note, why do we need to fund raise?  Weekly dues are only a small portion of the Pack revenue and annual registration fees go entirely to national (to support program development and other broad-based endeavours).  The Pack has numerous expenses and to maintain a quality program, we need to help of ALL Pack families to contribute time and energy to the fundraisers that help offset these expenses.

Pack Program Expenses
  • Awards, recognition badges and derby cars - 41%
  • Leader fees & campout meals - 19%
  • Blue & Gold dinner - 16%
  • Den budgets - 10%
  • Paper, Ink and related supplies - 4%
  • Website - 3%
  • Miscellaneous - 7%
Remember: fundraising begins with FUN and that should be in the forefront of everyone's mind when helping the Pack go by participating in these events.
