Webelos Winter Mixer Meeting

There will be a Winter Mixer meeting next Monday, December 5th from 7:15-7:30 in the church.  The Winter Mixer is an annual campout with Boy Scout Troop 110 and Cub Scout Pack 100.  The dates for this year's Winter Mixer  are January 20, 21, 22, 2012 at Pocono Mountain Bible Camp (PMBC).

During this campout, we continue to build the bridge between Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts for each family.  All Webelos with a parent are strongly encouraged to attend the Winter Mixer.  Financial assistance is available for Cubs;  please see me directly with any financial concerns.

The meeting is for all families to discuss proper winter gear and the logistics for winter camping.  We try to have this meeting prior to the gift-giving season so Cubs without proper gear may be able to receive the gear as gifts.  You will receive further information at this meeting about the campout program, camping safety, and the accommodations at PMBC (http://www.camppmbc.com).

This meeting is mandatory for parents ~~~  this means ALL Webelos parents ~~~ and attendance will be taken. Only folks who have dire emergencies are excused ~~ that means if you don't let Mrs. Kinsley know you are as sick as a dog, you are expected to be there.  There will NOT be another meeting to repeat what you missed if you choose not to attend.

The cost of the Webelos Winter Mixer is $25 per person - Cubs MUST bring an adult with them, BSA policy.
