This year's Blue&Gold Luncheon will be held at 1PM on 3/1. Here are the den dish assignments:
Tigers: fruit salad and fruit trays
Wolves: vegetable trays, salads- tossed, potato, macaroni, pasta and coleslaw
Bears: main dishes- macaroni & cheese, baked ziti, chicken tenders, halupki, lasagna, meatballs, stew/chili, etc.
Webelos 1: main dishes
Webelos 2: main dishes
Please bring enough to share for 15 people. Dishes in TWO 8x8 disposable pans OR label your pan/ take it home with you; tongs and serving spoons for your dish (from the $1 store) would be helpful.
REMEMBER this year: label ALL MEAT DISHES--- chicken, beef, pork, turkey, bacon OR label your dish vegetarian if appropriate. THANKS and label PEANUT dishes too.

Den Meetings Update - 2/2, 2/16
Due to the inclement weather, tonight's den meetings (2/2) are cancelled.
Also, contrary to normal 'no school/no meeting' patterns, Pack 100 *will* be meeting on 2/16. Many dens still have items to complete ahead of the upcoming Blue&Gold luncheon on 3/1.

Summer Camp Dates
Dates have been announced for this summer's Cub Scout camps:
The Wolf/Bear Tuscarora resident camp (2-day) early bird fee is $120.
The Webelos Tuscarora and Barton resident camp (2-day) early bird fee is $180.
A Friends of Scouting presentation and summer camp info session has been set for a Pack meeting on 3/2.

Scout Sunday - 2/8
A Scout is Reverent. All Saints' Episcopal Church, our chartered organization, is hosting the annual Scout Sunday service at 10 AM on Sunday, February 8th. This is a service to encourage a positive relationship between our host parish community, Cub Scout Pack 100, and Boy Scout Troop 110. Please wear your neat Class A uniform and arrive promptly.
Kopernik Overnight - 2/13
Our annual overnight sleepover at Kopernik Observatory will be Friday, February 13th. There will be a meet&greet dinner at 5:30 PM and the classroom programs will begin at 6:00 PM. After the classroom programs, we will be observing the stars and planets using the Observatory telescopes (weather permitting), enjoying a late evening snack, and watching a movie. There will be a light breakfast in the morning.

Note: depending on road conditions, carpooling with 4-wheel/all-wheel drive vehicles is encouraged. The road up to the Observatory can be tricky in snowy/icy conditions.

- Pajamas appropriate for Cub overnight

Skate Estate - 1/26
Instead of our normal meetings at All Saints, Pack 100 will be headed to Skate Estate on Monday, 1/26. The cost of this event is $10 and includes admission, skate rental and 1 game of laser tag. This will serve as a Pack fundraiser and as such, family and friends of Cubs are welcome to join us.

Pack Pinewood Derby - 1/17, 1/18
The Pack 100 Pinewood Derby is scheduled for Sunday, January 18th with setup on Saturday, January 17th. Setup on Saturday will begin at 2:00 PM (after All Saints' free lunch program). Registration on Sunday will begin at 12:30 PM and racing will start with the Tiger den at 1:00 PM. Other dens will follow in order (Wolves, Bears, Webelos I, Webelos II) afterwards. There will be a special race for non-scout siblings at the end of the afternoon.
If you are available, please consider lending a hand on Saturday. Likewise, tear-down will happen immediately after the races and the more hands, the faster it will go.
Pizza and drinks will be available for purchase during the derby.
Car building information is available at the Pack pinewood page and the official BSA site. All cars must meet BSA specs or the car CANNOT run. If you need help with ideas or building tips, check Google or YouTube. In addition to the Den awards, there will be a Best Original Design award.
Conduct: Please no running, unsportsmanlike-conduct or fooling around. We will have many guests and need to be safe for all in attendance. There will be non-race activities such as a matchbox track and a coloring table. No electronic devices please. Parents are responsible for their youth at all times. And remember, when signs go up, mouths close.

Harlem Globetrotters - 2/5
The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to the Broome County Arena on Feb 5th (Thursday). Pack members wishing to attend can obtain side seats for $19 and end seats for $14. There is also a Magic Pass for pre-game festivities which is an additional $17. Payments must be made in cash (Arena won't accept check) and are due by Jan 5th.
